New Spring Beauty Picks - First Thoughts

I'm so sorry for not posting weekly for a while, but I've got exams coming up for my AS levels and am drowning in revision. Over the Easter holiday, I will try to get more up to date on my blog!

I've purchased a few beauty bits over the last couple of weeks, and I thought I'd share my thoughts on them with you all. Spring is the time where your makeup has a bit of a switch-over and freshen up, so these are the new additions. Enjoy!

Starting with the Collection Eye Primer. I so far have been impressed with this - I've only used it a couple of times, but it has made my eye shadow stay on much longer. It's got a surprisingly creamy fomula. You only need a tiny amount and for £4, you really can't fault it!

Sticking with the eyes theme, I picked up the Seventeen Eyeshadow Pallet in 'Birthday Suit'. Having seen Zoella's video referencing it (I will link it below at the end of the post in case you haven't seen it). I went into my local Boots, and couldn't walk past the Seventeen counter without picking it up. I've fallen in love with it - the neutral shades are beautiful and would go lovely with a nude lip. To give my makeup a lovely overall finish, I've been using the Maybelline 24 Hour Finishing Spray. On the 3rd time of using this, I'm already obsessed with it. I literally spray a tiny amount onto my face when I've finished my makeup and I'm ready to go! I used to have to touch up my foundation and powder twice a day, now it looks so lovely and sheen!

Finally, yesterday these beautiful lipsticks and crayons came in the post, and I had to write about them! The picture on the left shows My Best Girl Friend, which looks stunning. The consistency is stunning; smooth and creamy. For such a classy product, I am super impressed it's only £12.50 As soon as I've tried this, I'll let you know!

The other lip colour I got was Nude Mink, a gorgeous true nude shade. Again, it looks beautiful, and the magnetic lid satisfies me so much (yes, I sound lame, but the small things satisfy me!) I am really looking forward to trying these.
