I don't often wear make-up on a daily basis - only if I'm going out with friends or to a special occasion. But all the same, I still love it! Here are my top 5. Let me know what your favourites are in the comments below!
1) Concealar
Collection 'Lasting Perfection' concealer - £4.19
This was the first concealer I chose to buy and the first make up item in general I purchased. I must say that I love it - at £4.19, it doesn't break the bank and lives up to it's name. It has a creamy solution that can easily be applied to under eye bags and those pesky spots! The only negative thing I can say about this product is that as you can slightly see in the image, the writing does come off quite easily as you use the concealer and I would prefer it if it would stay on so I could see the writing on the bottle!
2) Foundation
Rimmel 'Lasting Finish' nude foundation in the shade ivory (100) - £8.99
This is my favourite foundation to use, although there are so many different ones you could try! This is my favourite, as it does last all day and there is no need for re-application during the day. It easily sits on the skin, without it feeling too heavy. I have to blend it with a cheap natural collection one, however, as my skintone is the awkward one where you have to blend foundations! This however is an excellent foundation and I would highly recommend it.
3) Powder
Rimmel 'Clear Complexion' transparent powder - £3.99
This is pretty new on the market as far as I can see - I've only seen it in Boots in the past couple of weeks. I had to go out and buy it, as who doesn't like transparent powder?! I can say that this lives up to its name; it compliments the skin, suits any skintone (even my awkward one!) and at less than £5, is affordable and easy to get. It has quickly overtaken my previous favourite, which was the Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder - transparent powders are always the best!
4) Eyes - Mascara
Rimmel 'Scandeleyes' - £6.99
If you like a big brush applicator for full, volumised lashes, then I'd advise you get this! It's quite a bit brush, which sometimes puts people off, but once you are familiar with it, it's very easy to use. It lasts a pretty long time and stay well on your lashes. The only negative I have about this mascara is the neon orange - it's stands out a bit in my make up collection from my other make up!
5) Lips - Lipstick
Rimmel lipstick - lasting finish in the shade 'Asia' (077 - £4.99
This is the first lipstick I have purchased for myself, as I wanted to start off with something quite neutral and fairly inexpensive. (I love the look of Mac lipsticks, but will have to save up for those! This lipstick is a lovely darker nude tone and looks lovely on the lips. It is easy to apply and lasts quite a long time. It is also one of the cheapest yet best lipsticks I've seen on the market. If you're looking for natural looking lips, I'd start off with something nice and simple, yet effective, like this!
