Hello again!
Sorry about not posting for a while -I've been busy with school work and bits, which makes this post rather relevant.
I feel like it's very easy to get very caught up in life and stress out, when really we should try to smile more and try to be happier and have some 'me' time. These are the stages I have when I feel stressed (although I try not to get stressed in the first place) and these usually help me out. Enjoy!
1) My 'Wreck This Journal'
One double page example - it did help take my mind off things!
Okay, I know this is pretty outdated now, I think it was 2013/14 when these were mainstream! But I still keep mind in my bag at all times in case I'm on public transport and feel stressed, or I want to go to the beach for a walk and do it there. Scribbling away or throwing your book across the bedroom (preferably without breaking anything, although I have before, oops) really helps.
2) Bubble Bath
After the bubble bar was crumbled!
On a Saturday evening, I always like to unwind. It's the one night I'm not thinking about coursework and revision, so I like to take a long luxurious bath and relax. This bubble bar is 'the comforter' from Lush. At £4.50, it sounds like a rip off, but can be split into quarters and used multiple times - I had enough bubbles and I only used a quarter of it! It is by far my favorite and has a lovely subtle scent of blackcurrant.
3) Candles
The 'true rose' yankee tealight candle and the sainsbury's 'lavender and geranium' candle.
Once I've had my bath and dinner, I like to sit in my room and read with my candles on before I go to sleep. These candles (scents listed next to them) both have really calming scents, and are both long lasting. It's lovely to sit, read and reflect on the hectic school week and relax with lovely candles rather than a harsh light, and gets me calm before I go to sleep.
So there we have it - this is what I do when I get stressed. I usually do this on a Saturday night when I have the most time to relax. I hope you have enjoyed reading this post, I really enjoyed making this one, sorry for it being a bit long.
Don't forget to comment what you do to unwind and de-stress!
See you soon,
byeeee! :)
love all of these items x
